Cooler Size Guide: Find the Right Cooler Liner With Our Free Calculator

Trying to figure out which cooler liner you need should not require a spreadsheet, a model-number scavenger hunt, or twenty minutes on Google.

So we built this page to make it simple. If you know your cooler brand and quart size, great—we can usually point you in the right direction quickly. If you do not know the quart size, no problem. Grab a tape measure, measure the inside of the cooler, and use our calculator.

Find My Liner

Answer what you know. We’ll keep it simple.

1. Do you know your cooler brand?

2. Do you know how many quarts it is?

Not sure? Measure the inside in about 30 seconds.

Measure the inside of the cooler — not the outside.

Quart size is a great shortcut, but cooler shapes vary. Two coolers with similar advertised capacity can have different interior dimensions, which is why measuring the inside can be the easiest way to double-check your fit.

What about smaller coolers?

Gordy has found that many 45–55 Qt coolers can still work well with Liner 09. In those cases, you may simply have a little more material to fold and tuck.

That is why we do not want you to rule out a liner based on quart size alone. Use the calculator with your INTERIOR dimensions, and if you are still unsure, reach out through chat. Gordy can take a look and help you figure it out.

Have a Specialty Cooler or Unusual Setup?

We hear from customers who are trying to line all kinds of different setups—specialty coolers, event coolers, catering setups, wedding coolers, BBQ socials, graduation parties, baskets, tubs, and other unusual containers.

Start with the calculator and enter the INTERIOR dimensions just like you would for a regular cooler. If the calculator gives you a recommendation, great. If it does not—or your container has an unusual shape, taper, basket-style design, or something else that makes you unsure—reach out to us through the website chat.

There are no stupid questions. Gordy has had plenty of questions himself that he thought might sound stupid, and he asked them anyway. That is how we learn, how we understand new setups, and how we figure out whether Allinliner can work for what you are trying to do.

Send us your dimensions, tell us what you are lining, and if it helps, send a photo. Gordy can take a look and help determine whether one of our liners should work for your setup.

Why inside measurements work

Cooler quart ratings are useful, but they do not tell the whole story. Different brands and models can be taller, wider, narrower, or more tapered even when the advertised capacity is similar.

By looking at the actual interior space, we can give you another way to narrow down the best liner without requiring you to know the exact cooler model.

Do not panic if the fit is not absolutely perfect

Allinliner material is flexible, and in many cases a liner can be folded, tucked, or adjusted to work even when the fit is not exact.

Even Gordy has grabbed the wrong liner while moving too fast and still made it work. The material gives you some flexibility to shape it around the container instead of needing the exact rigid fit you would need from a hard insert.

If your measurements are close to the calculator limit, measure one more time before ordering. Close is often workable, but measuring twice is always easier than guessing.

Coolers are not the only thing you can line

Allinliner adhesive can adhere to multiple surfaces, so the liner is not limited to a traditional cooler.

Need a quick temporary ice container for an event, catering job, back room, prep area, or outdoor setup? In many cases, a sturdy box or other container can be lined by placing an Allinliner inside and folding the liner over the top edges.

That flexibility is useful for restaurants, hotels, motels, resorts, caterers, concession operators, event crews, fishing trips, seafood jobs, BBQ, hunting, camping, tailgating, and other messy jobs where you want an easier cleanup.

Still not sure? We totally get it.

If the calculator result is close, confusing, or you just want another set of eyes on it, use the chat on our website and send us your cooler brand, quart size if you know it, or your three INTERIOR measurements.

If you reach out in chat, Gordy can take a look for you. If you are still unsure after using the calculator, stay right there in the chat and we will help you figure it out.

Have a cooler or project that does not fit our current lineup?

We manufacture Allinliner products multiple times throughout the year, and we love hearing from customers and businesses with a specific project, container, or size in mind.

If our current 60–95 Qt or 100–150 Qt options are not quite the right fit, reach out and tell us what you are working on. Depending on the project, timing, and upcoming production runs, we may be able to explore additional sizes or other ways to make Allinliner work for you.

If there is a practical way we can help, we want to hear about it. That is part of being a small business working with other small businesses—we listen, solve problems, and try to help everybody move forward.
